MATA
To prioritize the safety of our staff and riders, the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) will be suspending services today, March 31, 2023, beginning at 5:00 pm. Ready services are accepting final bookings at 4:30 pm. Customers are encouraged to sign up for Omnilert for updates on service alerts, delays, or detours. Traffic Engineering:
Drivers that are approaching a signalized intersection that is completely dark, the intersection should be treated as 4-way stop.
Drivers approaching a signalized intersection that is flashing yellow, they should reduce speed and proceed through the intersection with caution.
Memphis Animal Services
Bring pets indoors in advance of the storm, pets should not be left outside, even in dog houses or fenced backyards. Bring them inside at to avoid the injury or death of your pet and (potential criminal charges). Memphis Animal Services is AT CAPACITY. If you find a lost pet, if you can, please hang onto to it while you look for the owner. If your neighbor has a dog outside, try speaking with them first before calling Animal Control.
